Maha Shami is the Director of Product and Design for AARP, responsible for operationalizing organizational strategic goals into engaging digital experiences. She oversees a team of product managers, designers, and QA analysts working on products that empower members to live their healthiest, most financially secure, and fulfilled lives. She's passionate about helping users actualize their aspirations through the creation of compelling interactive online experiences.
Prior to AARP, Maha was Vice President of Product at HealthCentral, a community-driven site enabling users to improve and take control of their health. Over the past decade, she's worked on the content strategy, user research, and product side for Atlantic Media, US News & World Report, Revolution Health, and AOL.
