Originally from Texas, it did not take long for Mackie to settle into the growing and evolving tech community that has formed in Colorado. Starting off at Galvanize and continuing to work her way into the EdTech industry, Mackie found her niche. Motivated by the learning environment at GA where everyone is committed to the mission of improving the lives of others Mackie joined the team in 2017. Heading up the Local Marketing Producer role Mackie owns the event, class and workshop side the business at GA Denver. She has a solidified passion for building relationships and supporting the Denver tech community.
