Lucille McCart is the APAC Communications Director for Bumble, responsible for setting and leading the PR and comms strategy in Bumble’s existing and emerging markets across the region. Starting out in PR she spent close to a decade in agencies including Map and Page and Hausmann Communications, where she quickly rose through the ranks working on clients including Westpac, the National Rugby League, Specsavers, Priceline Pharmacy, Neutrogena and Mumm Champagne.

It was during her time at Hausmann that she also worked with Bumble and was part of the early launch phase of the women-first social networking platform in Australia from 2017. After developing a genuine love for the purpose-led brand, Lucille moved across to Bumble in a full time in-house role in 2019. Initially taking on the position of Senior Marketing Manager, she was promoted to the role of Country Lead prior to starting her current role.

In the years that Lucille has been working with Bumble, it has gone from a tech startup to a mainstream brand that has a cult following that empowers women to make the first move.
