Lizzy (LEE-see) Diaz-Ortiz is a food enthusiast known as Kitchen Nomad on Instagram and her occasional blog where she shares her latest food adventures. Her photos have been featured by Bombobar, Chicagogrammers, Fab Food Chicago, The Harding Tavern, and Windy City Blogger Collective. Growing up in the military, Lizzy lived and travelled around the world exposing her to various foods and cultures. These experiences led to her winning in an amateur Iron Chef contest judged by Rick Bayless. Lizzy has moderated panels for General Assembly and Taste Talks on entrepreneurship in food and beverage businesses. She is a licensed attorney and active member of the American Bar Association, Intellectual Property Law section.
