    Lisa Suguitan Melnick, is a third generation Fil-Am of Ilokano and Cebuano roots. She learned her first and best lessons in Filipino cuisine from her paternal great-uncle, Epifanio Castillo Suguitan and grandfather, Silvestre Suguitan. A writer/author, Lisa considers story sharing one of the most powerful and beautiful ways to connect oneself with others in ways seen while often- from many facets- unseen.
