Lisa Cherry grew up in western suburban Chicago and has lived in Glen Ellyn for 20 years. She earned a degree Speech Communication from Bradley University and has retired from a career in sales management with multi-national corporations. Lisa currently serves as an officer on the Board of Directors for both the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn Branch and the Illinois State Board of the American Association of University Women. She is a member of the Speakers Bureau of the Gender Equity Fund, an affiliate of AAUW-IL, and is an AAUW Salary Negotiation Workshop facilitator. She is honored to be a part of an organization working for the empowerment of women and girls.
