Lindsay Kinder quit a 5-year career selling corporate life insurance to pursue a dream of learning to cook in France. After backpacking solo for six months, working with local farmers exchanging her labor for room and board, and receiving a Cuisine Certificate from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, she arrived in San Francisco.
She is the founder and creator of FOOD LA LA, specializing in unique food and cocktail experiences for remarkable corporate events. She’s hosted many of America’s beloved brands including: Louis Vuitton, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, The Fairmont, Williams-Sonoma, Pinterest, Facebook, Google, and Salesforce. She also curates twice-monthly live cooking classes for the FOOD LA LA COOKING CLUB membership community.
Lindsay is deeply connected to the healing power of creativity and leverages food as the perfect blank canvas. She loves all things fun and fancy, but never fussy! Lindsay believes everybody is creative, but sometimes just needs a little encouragement (which often comes in the form of edible glitter or tequila).
