LILY CONOVER is a freelance writer and consultant helping mission-driven organizations develop compelling written content to secure grant funding and effectively tell their stories. During eight years in the nonprofit and academic sectors in a variety of roles - including policy analyst, research associate, grant writer, grants manager, and strategic initiatives manager - Lily built a track record of helping social impact leaders transform the ideas in their heads into tangible written concepts and materials, millions of dollars in grant funding, and new partnerships and projects.
In 2019, she decided to launch her freelance career. Over the past six months, working with a handful of nonprofit clients, she has been building and iterating a business aimed at bringing to life important issues through the power of the written word. She specializes in grant proposals, concept papers, strategic plans, annual reports, and presentations. Lily holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy, as well as a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Southern California.
