Liana is a designer on the Device Interaction Design team at Google Nest working on Nest cameras, doorbells, displays, and thermostats. She specializes in how users interact with hardware through affordances such as physical buttons, touch, haptics, LEDs, and more. With a background in industrial design, she discovered a passion for designing the space between people and the physical objects around them. When she's not designing, she's perfecting her sourdough, playing classical piano, and restoring antique furniture.
