Over the past 20 years, Liam has spent a lot of time bridging the worlds of design, technology, and business. Fortunately that seems to be a good foundation for product management! Before moving into product management he studied Software Engineering, worked as a teacher, a design strategist, and an executive coach helping CEOs build world-class design capabilities.

Wanting to build a multi-disciplinary design toolkit, Liam’s professional start was as a product and brand design strategy consultant for both digital and physical product companies. During this time he had the privilege of working with and learning from companies big and small from Government design programs, SME manufacturers, tech startups, Australia’s largest bank, to media product companies across North America.

After feeling the desire to move beyond limited consultancy engagements to be personally involved in "actually building great stuff", Liam has spent the last 7 years as an "in house" product leader. He cut his teeth as a product manager leading product in a successful tech scaleup serving North American ski schools, before switching industries entirely into health tech in a mature market leader needing to reinvent its leadership fundamentals in a SaaS world.

Liam is passionate about building great design-led product cultures that make a real positive difference.
