Leslie Cayas

Software Engineer, Versent

Sydney

Leslie Cayas is a software engineer specialising in infrastructure-as-code using AWS and Python. Leslie has a background in biomedical science and has worked as a laboratory technician for NSW Health Pathology during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eager to fine tune her investigative and problem solving skills, she came to GA as a student under the part-time SEI bootcamp. Soon after completing, Leslie was able to earn her role as an Associate Software Engineer at Versent. As she continued to work as an engineer and as an Instructor Associate for GA, she strengthened her skills in communication and passion for mentoring determined career changers and novice engineers.
