Lenise Williams is an attorney turned author and serial entrepreneur. In November 2016, she was invited to speak at a United Nations conference in Marrakech, Morocco. While there, she had the opportunity to explore the city, experience the cuisine and meet many people. She fell in love with it all and was especially intrigued by the handcrafted leather goods and tanneries. Upon returning to the United States, Lenise executed a plan to import leather goods from artisans in Morocco and launched her business, Made Leather Company. The brand has been seen carried by NFL and NHL players, and Lenise has been featured in Rolling Out Magazine, Sheen Magazine, Bridal Magazine, and Black Enterprise.
