    Lee Acker

    Front End Developer, EMS Software

    Denver

Lee is a front end developer with EMS Software, but she took a rather long route to get there. Graduating with a bachelors in Graphic Communications from Clemson University, she worked within the print industry in Charlotte, NC as both an account manager and a mailing specialist, before deciding she was in the wrong state AND the wrong industry. After a stint at Boulder-based development bootcamp RefactorU, she switched over full-time to software engineering and hasn’t looked back. Before EMS, Lee worked for Gingr as a UI Developer, and before that with Gloo as a Full Stack Web Developer. Outside of work, Lee struggles with the problem of having too many interests and not enough time. She has two adorable pups, a Husky mix named Luna and a German Shepherd named Neville, who she can often be found frolicking through the woods with. Her other interests include reading, writing, and many nerdy activities. She also loves to travel and if you ask her at any given point in time, she probably has her next trip planned.
