Leanne is a marketing leader who creates and executes SpotX’s branding, communications and training strategies. She has nearly 20 years of experience in launching and positioning fast-growth technology startups through to market leadership. Leanne is responsible for SpotX’s global marketing communications, PR, and go-to-market strategy, which have helped SpotX achieve its leadership position in video advertising technology. She has served on the management teams of four startup technology companies in the advertising, supply chain and healthcare industries. Leanne is also a certified executive coach, and uses those skills and experience to train, develop and mentor SpotX team members, while helping publishers better understand and maximize their revenue with the SpotX platform. Leanne leads SpotX’s efforts to hire and retain women in technology and promotes SpotX’s leadership as a Pacesetter company of the National Center of Women & IT (NCWIT). As a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, Leanne was responsible for media relations during deployments to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Macedonia and Somalia. She currently serves as a training officer for the Colorado Army National Guard and is a liaison with civilian agencies during state emergencies and natural disasters. Leanne received a BA in communications from the University of Southern California and an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
