Lawrence brings over 15 years of industry user experience design knowledge to General Assembly. He started life as a gamer, designing interfaces for the Playstation and Gameboy. When the internet exploded, he moved into UX to design websites for dial-up modems. His background in computer science, visual design and psychology gave him the generalist skills to move between agency, corporate and startup worlds. Along the way he has picked up skills in user research and testing, prototyping, responsive design, service design, design thinking, lean and agile development and more. His previous roles include work for the ABC, Vodafone, Virgin, ING direct, CommBank, Coca Cola, British Airways and Electronic Arts.
Originally from London, Lawrence is now focused on designing apps for mobile and tablet and enjoying the weather!
