    Founder & CEO, Blue Fever

    Los Angeles

Hailing from Boston and now Los Angeles, Lauren is a founder of Blue Fever – A futuristic "Netflix" for badass women which sends video texts to young women to fit their moods! Blue Fever is backed by the prestigious startup accelerator Techstars. Lauren is obsessed with Shark Tank, Wired Magazine and, of course, badasses of all kinds. After becoming aware of the lack of women in the entertainment industry while attending film school, Lauren co-founded an organization that brought financial awards to female filmmakers: Collaborators included NYU, Avid and Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (THE HURT LOCKER, ZERO DARK THIRTY). Lauren previously founded the distribution company X-Factor Films that sold short movies and shows to Fullscreen, Sundance Now and AMC. Lauren has produced over 20 video projects and was a finalist in Lionsgate’s 2015 ‘New Voices of the Twilight Saga’ competition. She co-created the original digital series TANSYLVANIA - about a girl gang of vampires, her screenplay SWEET DESERT PALM was a Big Vision Empty Wallet 2015 Lab finalist, and she started her career as an editor of feature films.
