I am is currently a systems engineer, program manager, and line manager at BAE Systems, Inc. I joined BAE as a software engineer out of school (B.S. and M.S. from WPI in CS) to help bridge the gap between algorithm development and software engineering. Over the past 10 years, I've shifted gradually from development, to design, eventually to systems engineering and coordination of large, multi-disciplinary teams. I've recently been working with INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering) and the EWLSE (Empowering Women as Leaders in Systems Engineering) working group to try to find ways to bring more women into STEM fields, and understand how to keep them engaged throughout their careers. To keep the right side of my brain engaged outside of work, I'm also a photographer and avid theater-goer.
