Lauren Bruce
Director and Co-Founder, Haynes&Bruce
Lauren started her writing career as a communications adviser and speechwriter for the Victorian Government, writing music reviews for the Herald Sun on the side, before she realised she couldn't ignore her passion for food any longer. She gave up the world of state politics to concentrate on freelance writing and food styling, partnering with photographer Georgia Haynes to start communications business Haynes&Bruce.
She has since written for Paper Sea, Junkee, Spook about food, music and design and is a regular contributor to GRAM Magazine, creates and manages social media and events for food industry clients and works with community development organisation Cultivator on creative education projects for young people in regional communities.
