Prior to joining Lyft, Lauren worked on Capitol Hill, The White House, and on political campaigns. She served as Policy Director for the House Committee on Rules. Here Lauren worked with House leadership to coordinate messaging, while facilitating legislation to the House Floor.
Lauren started on day one in the Obama White House, in the Office of Legislative Affairs, here she worked on the team that moved the Administration's most hallmark legislation through Congress.
In 2008, she moved to Chicago to join the Obama for America Campaign as a Regional Research Director. Previously, Lauren started her career on Capitol Hill with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, then chaired by Representative Henry Waxman.
