Laura is an experience designer focused on creating beautiful, user-centered digital, print and environmental projects and products. She believes that the best experiences are created when they are considered across multiple touch-points in a beautiful and cohesive manner.
She has spent 10 years in the field of design as a full time in-house or agency designer for notable brands both big and small. She has worked with brands like George Washington University, Apple, Associate for Government Employees, NASDAQ and more, creating web and mobile experiences that delighted and achieved goals.
Most recently she was the Head of Design at TrackMaven, a marketing analytics startup where she built out the design practice and team across communications and product design. These days she’s working on her own creative business, Atypical Notion, as well as working to solve the problem of diversity and inclusion within tech companies.
In this 8-week part-time course, students learn the tools, theory, and practical techniques needed to create visually stunning designs.
