Born and raised in Virginia Highlands, Lara works to leverage the power of businesses for good as the Corporate Partnerships Manager at Hands On Atlanta. After graduating cum laude from Goucher College, Lara served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia and worked for NGO’s in Cambodia. Upon returning to Atlanta, Lara founded Skylight Consulting, a firm providing evaluation, fundraising and strategy services for nonprofits. Lara is a graduate of Emory University’s Master’s in Development Practice program and a co-founder of digital publication Gather Good.
