Lara Strachan

Data Scientist based in Denver, CO, I have a background in Nutrition and Wellness, and a passion for lifelong learning. At any given point, I'm probably trying to think of a pun for the situation at hand. General Assembly's DSI called to me because I love asking questions then playing detective to try and answer them - and data science provides the tools to do that. I aim to apply my data detective skills in service of tackling the most pressing problems facing our world, namely climate change. Will absolutely nerd out with you about mycology, anything I heard about in the podcast "Invisibilia", or Lord of the Rings.
