Kyle Wai Lin

Kyle Wai Lin is a Creative Director from San Francisco. Kyle cut his teeth in advertising as an art director, designing digital experiences for Apple, Twitter, R/GA, and AKQA for clients like Nike, eBay, and Gap. Passionate about making useful things, he’s since shifted into product roles in tech, building platforms as Senior Product Lead for start-ups like 99 Designs and Haven, Inc. Most recently, he started Immigrant Creative, an independent creative agency that values underserved voices in the industry, working with minority founders, underrepresented talent, and mission-led projects.
Kyle is also a teacher at Miami Ad School and a Designlab mentor. He earned his Masters in Advertising Art Direction from Virginia Commonwealth University. Outside of the digital world, he runs Mohinga House, a Burmese noodle pop-up, and is a co-owner of Burma Bear in Oakland. His happy place is Hawaii and his french bulldog, Drake.
