Dr Kyle Turner, originally from Dubbo, his mother's Wiradjuri country, is the CEO and Founder of Pearlii, a for-profit social enterprise that uses AI image processing to scan dental photos, taken at home with a smartphone camera, to check for common dental problems. Kyle is also a Lecturer in Indigenous Health at the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, he completed his PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, as well as worked on a range of chronic disease prevention projects in Indigenous communities throughout Australia, publishing widely.
