Kristina is an HR Operations Lead at edX, a Harvard and MIT-backed education startup, where she's had the opportunity to impact at scale. Starting off in a talent acquisition role, Kristina partnered with managers across the company to address their hiring challenges, create a talent strategy and deliver top talent. Currently, she oversees edX's new hire orientation program, employee engagement and recognition initiatives, and training and professional development for edX'ers. Kristina also has been involved in strategic talent initiatives around performance management, career pathways and workforce analytics.
Kristina received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, where she started her undergraduate career doing neurotoxin research. She is also a cohort member of the Forté Foundation, a non-profit consortium of leading companies and top business schools working together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers. Outside of edX, you'll find Kristina trying new things like improv comedy, Krav Maga, and different cuisines.
