Kobi’s background is as a Chemical Engineer in the Oil and Gas Industry and he completed his 2nd Masters degree in Social Media (MA) from the University of Salford, Manchester whilst working full time in Norway.
He enrolled in the Social Media Masters purely due to fascination with the subject matter and wasn't expecting it to lead into career change! After finishing the course he was approached for help with Digital Marketing and Social Media on various projects for companies and charities in the UK and Norway. This social media consultancy work started life as "interesting side hustles" but grew to engage him in the evenings and weekends.
The "big push" into freelancing full time came as a result of the drop in the Oil and Gas market resulting job losses but, more importantly, the perfect opportunity to work in an industry that he loves. After coming back from Honeymoon in October 2015 Kobi set up Kobestarr Digital as a Digital Marketing Agency and has never looked back.
