    Kirk Rabius, P.E., serves Stanley Consultants as its Smart Cities Leader. In this role, Kirk works with an ecosystem of world-class experts at Stanley and consortium partners to develop smart technology solutions in the Energy Utility, Transportation, Federal, Higher-Education, and Healthcare markets globally. With over 25 years of diverse experiences in the market, Kirk brings a practical ‘total lifecycle’ mindset to Smart Cities.

    Kirk’s diverse Smart Cities experience ranges from developing Smart City blueprints for cities across the US to working on Smart City programs in the UK, China, and Saudi Arabia. In 2016, the City of Denver, CO tapped Kirk to be the lead capture manager for the U.S. Department of Transportation Smart City Challenge Grant Competition. As a result, Denver was selected as one of seven finalists from 78 applicants and received over $15 million in grant opportunities that are being executed today.

    A proficient author and frequent presenter on Smart Cities, Kirk is a licensed professional mechanical engineer with a degree in architectural engineering from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.
