    Kim is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where she previously worked on ad viewability/billing and now works on the YouTube channel subscriptions infrastructure. Kim received her Masters in Computer Science from UCLA in 2014, after having earned a BA in Theatre Studies from Yale and a Masters in Classical Acting from London's Central School of Speech and Drama, specializing in Shakespeare. Before her life as an engineer, she spent almost a decade in Hollywood as an actress, starring in a number of stage productions in the LA area and appearing in many popular television shows (Criminal Minds, Mad Men, True Blood, Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Chuck...). At Google, Kim is an active contributor to the "CS in Media" initiatives that advocate for the portrayal of increased diversity of STEM characters in film and television, and serves as an engineering advisor and on-camera mentor.
