Kim has worked in design for over 10 years. She is currently Director of User Experience Design at PhotoShelter and previously taught web design at the University of Reading in the UK. With bachelor's and master's degrees in sociology, Kim brings a unique combination of education and real-world experience into the classroom. Topics of most interest to her include: research methodologies, accessibility and inclusive design, and systems thinking.
In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom, Kim has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program. Kim serves on GA's Product Advisory Board for our visual design courses.
