Kenyatta Berry

Kenyatta D. Berry is Professional Genealogist, Entrepreneur, Attorney and a Woman in Tech. With 17 years in the Technology industry, Berry has made great strides forming successful partnerships, growing & expanding business, creating opportunities for diversity and inclusion amongst her peers at various tech companies. As a Channel Manager for software giant Cornerstone OnDemand, in 2009 Berry was the first sales person hired to create the Higher Education Sales Team. She spearheaded the development of this team, managed services partners and acquired new partners for Cornerstone generating over 15 million in sales proving there was a market and need. She also collaborated with the Higher Education partner to train their field sales team, support mutual sales opportunities, create co-branded marketing campaigns, managed the implementations and co-sponsorship of Higher Education events.

As Berry shifts to build her brand by following her passion, Genealogy. A frequent lecturer, writer and television personality, Berry focuses on African American Genealogy, Slave Ancestral Research and DNA. Those being her areas of expertise, Kenyatta is extremely knowledgeable in the discipline of Genealogy in general and is working diligently to bridge the gap between Genealogists and Historians, a merging of professions Berry deems necessary. With DNA becoming increasingly popular no doubt she will be on the cutting edge utilizing the latest technology to help link people to their past.
