Kelly Furness is a Software Engineer for Pluralsight where she works on creating learning recommendations. Before entering the tech scene, Kelly taught and performed aerial arts and acrobatics, but after several injuries decided to become a first-grade teacher where she saw the powerful impact technology can make in teaching. After attending a software engineering bootcamp, Kelly was fortunate to do an internship at Pluralsight where the company focuses on democratizing technology skills and learning. Kelly still works for Pluralsight today and has had the opportunity to work in Utah headquarters as well as move to Boston to help expand the office and spread engineering practices and culture.
