Before joining the GA team, I was a mental health professional and freelance photographer/videographer. I decided to take the UXDI course because I wanted to be able to pursue a career that merged my love for understanding people with my passion for the creative arts; and UX seemed to do just that. I'm currently working on developing a website for a new Atlanta non-profit that helps combat human trafficking by helping to stop the demand in men and buyers. When I'm not teaching and helping as an IA, I love serving in community outreaches to help the refugee, homeless, and other in-need communities. I also enjoy reading, backpacking, and spending time with the people I love.
