Hailing from Southeast Alaska, Katrina has worked to remove over 50,000 pounds of marine debris off remote beaches through a grant from the Marine Conservation Alliance. The experience led to a dedication to understand how small changes in everyday behaviour can have a long-term effect in reducing plastic on the environment. Join her for a first-hand account of the type of plastic ending up on our shores, how it’s getting there and what you can do about it. Her background also includes mastering the art of storytelling through film/TV at HBO and most recently making documentaries at the rising OTT subscription service DAZN.
