Katrina is passionate about technology, travel, and people. Although Katrina studied Hotel Management at Cornell University, she stumbled (well more like forcefully squeezed) into the tech industry. Katrina's interest in tech started with account management at a leading travel tech company, Booking.com, grew while managing product partnerships at a San Francisco startup, and solidified as a Developer at Thoughtworks. After attending General Assembly's Web Development Immersive program, Katrina worked at local travel startup, Leezair, and is now a Developer Consultant at Thoughtworks Australia. Katrina enjoys engaging in the community and contributing to Bahmni, an open source hospital system.
