My curiosity about human behaviour and uncovering the underlying 'why' drew me to design. My design journey stemmed from a background in psychology, and I was lucky enough to build upon this mindset and skill set practically through user-based design projects at Huddle. Working across all areas of the organisation—Strategic and Service Design, business development, the inner workings—enabled me to build capability through all stages of the design process. Managing talent and recruitment over the past year has provided insights into the applicants who are keen to transition or get started in the design field, and what I look for in aspiring designers.
