I started my career in digital marketing working from the perspective of a consultant, in house specialist, and from an agency. I quickly noticed a discrepancy between the work we conducted and a challenge in reporting the data resulting from that work. As a result, I found myself naturally being pulled in the direction of data analysis for marketing. As a Data Analyst today, my experience with digital marketing helps me to understand why many questions would be asked and anticipate what data will be needed. I currently work for Rational Consulting as a Data Analyst for the Cloud Marketing team at Microsoft.
