Kate is a senior software engineer at Google Singapore where she is the tech lead on Google Pay team. Before relocating to Singapore in 2018, Kate has worked at Google HQ in Mountain View and MediaTek in Taiwan.
With great passion for technology, Kate made the decision to become a software engineer when she was in high school. Throughout her journey in the industry, she has built products in a wide range, including moonshots and applications serving more than 100M users. She has experience in various layers of software stack ranging from backend infrastructure, web applications to embedded stack.
Kate is currently managing a team of 7 engineers, and overseeing the design and development of projects.
During Kate’s leisure time, she loves reading and writing though nowadays she spends most of her time on her two lovely daughters.
