Katie is a Software Engineer recently employed at Geospiza, an early stage startup in the disaster market industry. Katie is a Summer 2018 graduate of General Assembly's Web Development Immersive, and leveraged her relevant background in Geography/Project Management in finding her first engineering gig. She was employee #6 at Geospiza, and developed new workflow components for the application using React, Redux, and backend Java. Fueled by continuous learning, ‘Never Give Up’ attitude, Katie enjoys the satisfaction of problem-solving and creativity in building technology as a Software Engineer. When not coding, Katie can be found outside!
