Since the launch of the B Corporation movement in the UK, Kate has been key to building the community of companies who are reinventing business. By voluntarily meeting higher standards, Certified B Corps are distinguishing themselves by measuring their impact and offering a positive vision of a better way to do business As the Community Manager, Kate works with existing B Corps to strengthen the community, delivers campaigns to champion the movement and creates events to engage B Corps and build the community.
Kate has always been driven by the idea that business has a greater role to play in society and prior to B Lab UK, she worked for Sir Ronald Cohen (Father of British Venture Capital and Social Investment) at The Portland Trust, promoting peace and stability in Israel and Palestine. She coordinated and delivered programmes to aid economic development, focusing on the power of business to create change.
