Kate Furst is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Zola, the wedding company reinventing the wedding planning and registry experience. Kate was one of the first employees to join the company before launch in 2013, and she is responsible for everything pertaining to Zola’s unique low-inventory business model and overseeing Zola’s entire customer service department. Prior to Zola, Kate led creative operations for J.Crew — playing a pivotal role in the launch of J.Crew Factory — and was an executive at Gilt Groupe. Kate has a degree from Northwestern University and resides in Brooklyn with her husband and their two daughters.
