Kate is a design leader with experience spanning consumer healthcare, biotech, education, computer gaming, and most recently food, with a focus on business catering in her role as the Design Director at ezCater. Before that, she headed up the design team at another local Cambridge-based company, PatientsLikeMe.
Continuously listening to people’s stories, asking lots of questions, and using those insights to uncover what people really need to be successful and satisfied is at the heart of her process for creating compelling products and thoughtfully crafted experiences. Building and empowering teams of designers and researchers is her latest and most rewarding endeavor.
Kate holds a BS in Economics and Art History from BU and an MFA in Design from MassArt. She lives in Boston – but did do a brief turn living on the west coast before realizing she was a New Englander through and through.
