Kate’s background as a communications expert has been cultivated over 17+ years of in-the-trenches media experience—consulting, editing, writing, public relations, marketing, advertising, and media outreach.

A former editor-in -chief, writer and journalist for luxury lifestyle publications, she left the industry and launched KSB Media in 2007 after sensing seismic shifts in the media landscape. In 2014, she refocused the agency to embrace the entire communications ecosystem.

Annabel Media has helped more than 100 companies—from billion dollar corporations to sole proprietor startups and successful nonprofits—harness the power of their story into an elegant and effective marketing platform. The company has also successfully launched more than 15 brands and startups.

In 2015, Bailey founded TARRA to create a business resource for leadership-minded women. The platform rapidly expanded to include networking, education, mentorship and events. Today TARRA is creating a powerful network of women to cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and business leaders.

Bailey is an active member of the Denver business community. She held a board position for the Design Council of the Denver Art Museum from 2016-2019, is on the Small Business Council for the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce, is a board member of the Women's Entrepreneurship Council, and has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Children’s Health Foundation in Aspen.

She is an in-demand speaker and panelist for local business groups for topics ranging from public relations and marketing to women-focused business and entrepreneurship.

In 2017, Bailey was highlighted as a rising woman in business by Cherry Creek Lifestyle magazine, named one of the top 100 creatives in Denver by Westword magazine, and has been a featured speaker and panelist at Denver and Boulder Startup Weeks.
