Kari Klaus is Founder and CEO of www.VivaGreenHomes.com, the first comprehensive real estate website to offer and highlight sustainability information about home listings – the "Zillow of eco homes"

Both a leader and visionary, Kari is the first to confirm the integration of the fastest growing sector in the real estate industry, sustainable homes, into the online real estate market and credits her passion and 15+ years experience.

She has a cum laude BA degree from American University in International Studies, focusing on sustainable development, earned credentials as an EcoBroker and LEED Green Associate, worked for the EPA as an Outstanding Scholar, volunteered with Conservation International and recently was an Arlington County Board Appointed Commissioner to the Environment and Energy Conservation Commission. She has been a licensed real estate agent in N. Virginia since 2005. She is also bilingual in Mexican and Castilian Spanish and resides in Arlington, VA

Kari Klaus is a 2016 Cleantech Open Southeast Regional winner, National Finalist and Cleantech Open National Business Award recipient for the Business Model with Best Chance of Immediate Investment and Commercialization for Viva Green Homes.
