Kara McMurray is a UX instructor at General Assembly. With almost 10 years in the design industry, Kara has spent four of those providing user experience design and research to startups and fortune 500 companies. Her favorite is utilizing UX within the healthcare space to improve the quality of life for epilepsy patients. In her spare time you can find her hanging out with her three cat furbabies: Louie, Libby, and Phoebe. She loves to refurbish and upcycle old furniture pieces, play animal crossing, and binge-watch true crime shows.
