San Francisco
Julianne Knych is Chief of Staff to the San Francisco Engineering team at Bloomberg. Over the past year, Julianne led Shift: A Commission on Work, Workers and Technology. The project was a partnership between Bloomberg and the Washington D.C.-based think-tank New America. The initiative brought together tech CEOs, business leaders, policy advocates, and cultural influencers to examine the impact of technology, particularly automation and artificial intelligence, on jobs and society. Its goal was to flesh out and validate possible futures for American society in 10-15 years, propose solution sets, and build relationships among participants. Before assuming her role in April 2015, Julianne launched Bloomberg’s first global recognition program promoting company culture, employee loyalty and executive engagement. Previously, Julianne has held roles in people operations, employee recognition, communications and executive engagement in New York City and San Francisco.
