Julia Robinson is a communications professional with experience in corporate sustainability, global development, women's empowerment, and the nonprofit and technology sectors.
She currently works at the collaboration software company Atlassian in San Francisco, California. As the Head of People Communications, she's responsible for developing internal communications strategies that allow the People Team to deliver products and programs that grow employees and build better teams.
Previously, Robinson was the editor-in-chief for BSR, a nonprofit global business network and consultancy dedicated to sustainability, and led BSR’s social media and digital advertising strategy. She has also worked in South Africa and Sierra Leone for non-governmental organizations focusing on maternal and child health. Robinson holds a B.A. in African History from Columbia University and grew up in Ojai, California.
