Julia Poloai is the Head of Culture and Talent at Clipchamp, a video-tech startup headquartered in Brisbane, Australia with more than 70+ team members worldwide, including Australia, Germany, Philippines, and the USA.
Julia joined Clipchamp to lead all things people and recruitment in late 2018 when the company had a 14 person headcount. Before startup, her career touched all aspects of HR in large national and multinational organisations, with industries including corporate financial services, insurance, not-for-profit, government and the education sector. Her passion is creating environments of inclusion and support that drives potential and passion for people to successfully achieve their goals.
Julia has an MBA and Masters in the field of Human Resources from the University of Queensland (UQ), Bachelor of Human Services from Western Washington University in the USA, and a professional HR certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.
