Julia Ohannessian

Hi, I’m Jules. I’m a Software Dev who enjoys creating websites from scratch. Currently, I’m freelancing and focusing on enhancing my skills as a developer. I am passionate about UX/UI design and love working on both front and backend projects. Having the ability to move between both seamlessly is something that I think makes for a more well rounded engineer.

I haven’t always been in the coding industry. I previously worked as a professional actor in stage, t.v., and film. Being an actor requires you to be infinitely curious and strive for the most refined solution. I’ve found that these skills have been really handy for me as I transitioned into my new career. As I came from a non-technical background, I was worried that a career in change in tech was impossible and a ridiculous idea. I’m here to say that not only is it absolutely possible, but incredibly worth it.

When I’m not coding, I’m chasing my four year old and trying to learn how to play guitar.
