Julia Lau is a data scientist that has a passion for big data, insights-driven storytelling, and bridging the gap between business and tech. With a background in computer science and economics, she has taken both her engineering and data science skills to finance, aerospace, and media companies. She currently works at Spotify focusing on strategizing, testing, and launching new products that drive ad engagement for users. Outside of her day job, she is also leading the business strategy team for Send Chinatown Love where she identifies areas of opportunity and growth for the non-profit organization.
