    Joyce is a Data Science Consultant at QuantumBlack (a McKinsey company), and works on statistical models for explanatory, predictive and prescriptive problems. Her role involves designing and constructing mathematical models to help clients understand pertinent questions about their data, analyze results from modelling to deliver insights, as well as to implement data-driven decision-making via advanced analytics methods. She has worked with clients across retail, banking, and telecommunications industries, developing a variety of use cases.

    Prior to QuantumBlack, Joyce had 5 years of experience as a quantitative researcher in GIC, specializing in forecasting risk and return in investment assets, to inform portfolio allocation strategy. She has extensive experience in predictive modelling, time series forecasting, clustering and regime analysis, and optimization frameworks. She received her Bachelors and Masters in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University.
